You should be prepared to:

  • Supervise and coordinate all phases of the design of several personalized residential projects.

  • Manage design teams of 1 to 3 Project Architects and Architectural Designers – working with the creative oversight of the Design Director and / or Principal Architect.

  • Facilitate direct contact with customers on a daily basis in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Manage administrative and technical aspects of projects, including project budgets and schedules.

  • Coordinate with project consultants such as surveyors, engineers, etc.

  • Collaborate with internal or external construction project managers to ensure the design is executed to customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure fast and quality execution of assigned projects.

  • Be responsible for the specific aspects of the technical design of an assigned major project, including the investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meet and exceed the client’s needs.

  • Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design and coordination of small and large complex projects.

Job requirements include:

  • 5 to 10 years and more of work experience in an architectural firm

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution

  • Registered architect

  • Customized high-end single-family residential experience – prefer

  • Experience with ArchiCAD (or other BIM software)

  • Comfortable with project management software

  • A history of excellent leadership and success in leading project teams
